Fox News King Slams Glenn Beck

Approved by TCP Breaking News

Because he doesn’t do anything small-time, Rupert Murdoch was the very last bold-faced name to join Twitter in 2011, sending out his first tweet just hours before the ball dropped. Now, only three days later, the News Corp. honcho is making headlines fortwo tweet-dorsements of controversial Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum. While Murdoch still seems to be getting a handle on the medium — witness his lasttwo tweets — he isn’t shy about making himself known to the Twitterverse. So what’s it like inside the mind of a billionaire media mogul?

Not unlike your average well-educated, globally minded tweeter, Murdoch’s musings (23 as of publication time), are mishmash of cultural recommendations, political reflection, random information (Alexander Hamilton?), and shout-outs to his homies (Google founder Larry Page, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, George Clooney, to name a few). Frankly, they are a little dull at times, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t valuable lessons to be gleaned.
