Need to quickly grab information for an upcoming presentation or business project, you may have a little more trouble doing so for the next 24 hours. Websites protesting the SOPA and PIPA bills are showing it on their pages today. The most notable protests are Google with their logo blackout and Wikipedia who chose to block their english pages for a full 24 hours. Will this mean Washington lawmakers may have to write their own speeches now?
The College Press feels online piracy must go! There are many other ways to end this problem other than making hard working Americans suffer and possibly lose their jobs in the process. Below is information on how you can get involved via google petition.

Google Announcement:
Millions of Americans oppose SOPA and PIPA because these bills would censor the Internet and slow economic growth in the U.S.
Two bills before Congress, known as the Protect IP Act (PIPA) in the Senate and the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) in the House, would censor the Web and impose harmful regulations on American business. Millions of Internet users and entrepreneurs already oppose SOPA and PIPA.
The Senate will begin voting on January 24th. Please let them know how you feel. Sign this petition urging Congress to vote NO on PIPA and SOPA before it is too late.
